MacAvo’s Chris Searle is an accredited nursery assessor (Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme) with an extensive background in tree crop research (CSIRO, DAFQ and UQ), so he understands the science behind your young trees.

Chris is passionate about providing nursery operators with the information and techniques to produce the highest quality plants possible using industry best practice guidelines. He works closely with his clients on all aspects of the process - from site construction, through to variety selection, growing media, planting, grafting, nutrition and pest & disease management. 

He has a comprehensive understanding of the new Australian macadamia industry nursery accreditation and tree standard (having guided its development), and regularly presents at workshops and national conferences on the topic.
