Over the past 20 years, MacAvo’s Chris Searle has become one of the world’s most trusted avocado and macadamia consultants, providing a mix of agronomic, economic and general management advice to owner/managers and growers all over Australia and Asia.
A highly qualified agronomist with an extensive background in tree crop research, Chris has worked for some of the world’s largest macadamia processing businesses, where he provided practical, on-farm assistance to Australian macadamia growers in all major production regions from Mackay in QLD’s north to the NSW Northern Rivers. He was a member of the national investigative committee which studied Australia’s highest producing macadamia orchards, and owns/manages his own macadamia, high-density lychee and custard apple farms in Bundaberg, Queensland.
In avocados, Chris works with some of Australia’s largest avocado producers to develop programs that support nutrition, irrigation, plant health and tree management.
Chris works one-on-one with growers and businesses to develop a tailored solution to suit your specific needs and goals.
